Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be automatically certified as soon as I complete the training?
Upon successful completion of our Hypnotherapy programs, you will be certified as a Hypnotherapist and/or a Past Life Regression Specialist. You will be required to pass a written exam and practical exam to be certified. Your Past Life Regression Specialist certificate will be presented at the conclusion of the course, and your Hypnotherapy Certification will arrive in the mail within a few weeks.

Are there any pre-requisites for this course?
There is no prerequisite for the Hypnotherapy Certification course. But in order to attend Past Life Regression training by itself, prior Hypnotherapy certification is required. If you would like to take this program, you can add another 4 days of training to get your certification.

Where does the certification come from?
Our hypnotherapy certifications are awarded through the International Hypnosis Association. When you complete an additional 40 hours of hypnosis practice you are eligible to receive certification through the National Guild of Hypnotists. Past Life certifications are awarded by Lightwork Seminars, Intl.

What is the training schedule?
The class will be from 9am to 6:30 or 7pm each day.

Where will it take place?
Programs offered in San Francisco take place at our headquarters building on Union Square in downtown San Francisco. Courses in Warrenton, VA are held at the Foxfire Training Center. Courses offered in other locations are usually taught in a local hotel. To check exact locations, please browse the schedule.

Are there lodging arrangements made by Lightwork Seminars?
We have arranged for group rates at each hotel we teach courses in. You will need to make your own arrangements for these programs, and remember the hotels do sell out. Please note that because some courses are held at our training facilities, you will need to arrange your own accommodations. Request a list of local hotels

What is included in my tuition?
Tuition is all inclusive for each program we offer. All materials, books, and DVDs are included in one price. You won't have any additional costs, except to apply for hypnotherapy certification (about $75US). NLP certifications ($200 per level) are included in the tuition.

This program seems shorter than some others I have seen online. Will I be able to practice hypnotherapy after this course?
Yes! There are wide variations between schools offering hypnosis training, but this course covers all the basics in 6 intense days of training. You will be able to help people stop smoking, lose weight, regress to a past life, and get over fears easily at the conclusion of this course. If you'd like to expand what you can do, further training is recommended. And, within the field of hypnotherapy, 15 hours of training is required each year to maintain your certification. So, start with hypnotherapy certification, and then consider adding NLP to your tool set.
