OVERVIEW
In
the middle of the 19th century, Christian seminary principal Mikao Usui
was asked by his students why they were not taught the method by which
Jesus performed miracles of healing. Troubled by this request, Usui
left his position at the seminary and begin a decades long quest that
would lead him to believe even lay persons could practice the arts of
energetic healing.
As a Reiki Master, you make a commitment to live daily by the Reiki
Principles, to spread Reiki to the world, and to heal yourself and others.
It is recommended to practice Reiki I & II for 6 months to a year
before becoming a Reiki Master to hone your skills and heighten your
intution.
Through the third degree, or "master training", you become a Reiki Master. In Reiki terminology, the word "master" does not imply spiritual enlightenment. In this program, you will receive two Master level attunements. You'll also learn new master level symbols.
After completion of the master training, you will be able to attune other people to Reiki and teach the three degrees of Reiki. This course is taught by appointment, and you will be guided over a full month to fully utilize the energy and attunements you receive.
SYLLABUS
Master Symbols: Receive your first "master attunement" to the Reiki energy, and experience how you receive energy and intuition.
Teaching Reiki: Learn the basics of passing Reiki along to others, including how to give attunements and sample manuals for students.
COURSE LENGTH & HOURS
This 16-hour course is completed with a 2-day live training. Generally taught over a weekend, expect the day to begin at 9:30am and end at 6:30pm.
CERTIFICATION
This course is required for both Transpersonal Hypnotherapy Certification tracks. Upon successful completion of the program, you'll be certified as a Reiki Practitioner, with the option to become an Ordained Minister. Taken alone, it provides 16 CE credits for the California Board of Registered Nursing (other states often accept these credits).
