The Lightwork Seminars approach to hypnotherapy is compassionate and warm, while maintaining traditional effectiveness and integrity. You'll learn how to generate healing in a holistic way, giving attention to the whole person. This program is focused on uncovering the roots of problems and utilizing a variety of methods to release them.

This 6 day certification program includes instruction in all areas of hypnotherapeutic practice, including dispelling myths, trance induction, suggestion, and testing. And since your instruction comes complete with a take-home study kit, your learning continues long after the course. Whether you're new to hypnosis, or have years of experience, this is a course you'll want to take!

This course features the following hypnotherapeutic techniques:

Hypnoanalysis: Based on the Psychoanalytic theory developed by Freud and then Jung, we address the unconscious mind and underlying issues by examining the root causes of problems.
Behavior Modification: Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) has its roots in Behavioral Psychology and is used here in combination with hypnosis to alter habits and limiting patterns. You will also learn to give direct suggestion to reinforce the new behavior.
Self Actualization: Humanistic Psychology, developed primarily by Abraham Maslow, acknowledges that our ultimate striving is for self-actualization, or a healthy integration of body, mind and emotions. This program will cover how to help clients access and utilize their own inner resources for change.
Spirituality: Abraham Maslow also developed Transpersonal Psychology, which states that we strive toward the realization of our spiritual potential. In this program you will learn how to access soul-level learning through Past Life Regression.

For example, in this course, you will learn to work with issues from all four of these approaches:

Resolving underlying issues: Disconnect and learn from childhood wounds and negative programming
Replacing limiting habits: Adding new emotional resources so that the desired change becomes natural and effortless

Full Course Syllabus

It is recommended for students interested in making hypnotherapy their career that 200 hours of certification training be completed. We suggest completing at least 150 hours of live onsite training and 50 hours of independent study (see our Home Study Kit and Recommended Reading). This 60 hour hypnotherapy program, combined with 40 hours of independent study will provide a solid foundation for continued study. When combined with our NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner courses, a total of 240 training hours can be achieved.
