SYLLABUS

Home Study Portion (16 hrs)
Fundamentals of Hypnosis: Learn the basics of inductions, deepening, and testing depth of trance. Dispel the myths surrounding the practice of hypnosis.
The Art of Suggestion: Find out the secrets behind powerful hypnotic suggestion, which makes the practice of hypnosis true hypnotherapy. Learn how to structure your words for maximum impact and results.

Live Training Portion (32 hrs)
Interventions for Health and Wellness: First we'll practice several induction methods to give you the ability to easily hypnotize nearly everyone. Then, you'll learn how to release habits, such as smoking, binge eating, and drinking.
Regression Fundamentals: Discover the power of regression therapies, which allow you to release problem patterns rooted in the past. You'll learn to change limiting beliefs into an empowering direction for the future.

COURSE LENGTH & HOURS

This 48-hour course begins with home study and is completed with a 4-day live training. This provides for greater integration of the material and faster absorption. The home study portion can be completed within 2 weeks.

CERTIFICATION

This course is a required pre-requisite for all Hypnotherapy Certification Tracks. Taken alone, it provides 48 CE credits for the California Board of Registered Nursing (other states often accept these credits).

Janis Ericson Janis Ericson, founder of Lightwork Seminars, has been studying personal development since the age of eleven, beginning with the metaphysical teaching of Edgar Cayce and progressing to hypnosis by the age of sixteen. After decades of studying spiritual healing, she began delving into brain research. Now she combines a lifetime of dedication to personal development with a sound, scientific foundation.

For the past ten years, Janis has integrated hypnosis and NLP into her every day reality, by coaching, teaching, and self-growth. She lives in San Francisco, where she sees clients, writes books, and loves every day.
