OVERVIEW
Reiki is useful for stress reduction, physical, emotional, and spiritual healing and for pain management. Whether you're a nurse in need of continuing education or you wish to become a hypnotherapist, this course will teach you the basics of transmitting healing energy to yourself and others.
SYLLABUS
Reiki
I (8 hrs)
Experiencing the Energy: Receive your first "attunement"
to the Reiki energy, learn the history behind the discovery of Reiki,
and find out how to self-treat.
Reiki
II (8 hrs)
The Reiki Symbols: Receive your second "attunement"
to the Reiki energy, learn the symbols and appropriate hand placements,
and find out how to treat clients, pets, and plants.
COURSE LENGTH & HOURS
This 16-hour course is completed with a 2-day live training. Generally taught over a weekend, expect the day to begin at 9:30am and end at 6:30pm.
CERTIFICATION
This course is required for both Transpersonal Hypnotherapy Certification tracks. Upon successful completion of the program, you'll be certified as a Reiki Practitioner, with the option to become an Ordained Minister. Taken alone, it provides 16 CE credits for the California Board of Registered Nursing (other states often accept these credits).

An Intuitive Energy Practitioner with over 28 years experience in traditional and holistic healing, Karen Truhon has dedicated her life to improving the lives of others. Her journey from mainstream medical training as a Registered Nurse to ever-more holistic and energy-based forms of treatment, was inspired by her own remarkable recovery from 5 surgeries through Reiki. Karen knew her purpose was then to teach others how to use their own miraculous natural healing abilities.
Certified as a Reiki Master Teacher, ThetaHealing© Instructor, Angel Healer Practitioner, Crystal Healer & Medium. Karen specializes in children’s workshops on crystals, energy, angels & reiki. She is affectionately known as “Reiki Karen.”
